Yesterday, was my turn to pick an activity for the day. It Didn't take me long to decide that I wanted to go to Universal Studios. So, we took the train to Sentosa Island to go to Universal Studios Singapore. Luckily, we arrived in time for opening (10am) and as soon as we were through the gates we practically jogged to the Transformers ride to avoid the lines that were sure to be present the rest of the day. I must say that I was expecting the Transformers ride to be like a roller coaster thing, nbut it was way better! It was a Motion Master and I think that it was probably the best ride in the entire park. Over the entire day we went on it roughly 6 or 7 times. My second favourite would have to be the Return of the Mummy, it was awesome! The theatrics were really well done and at night time they even had actors dressed up as the Imhotep and Anuksunamum (if that's how you spell it), as well as people on stilts dressed up like ancient Egyptian Guards. Unfortunately, their main roller coaster Battlestar Gallactica was closed for maintenance all day! Which was a REALLY annoying because it looked awesome. As well as rides we watched a few shows. My favourite was probably their production of WaterWorld. They were swinging off ropes, there was gun fire, jet skiis, boats, explosions, crowds getting wet and extremely dedicated actors. We also want to a Steven Speilberg hurricane stimulation. Which was really realistic and a bit nervraking at times. Overall it was a great day, a total of 12 hours spent at Universal Studios. Not to mention that I was in charge of organising transportation and made my family do an extra 20 stops on the metro both on the way there and on the way back :)

Sounds like you're hsving a ball - makes great holiday reading :)
