Little India - Sara's choice

After a leisurely start to the day, toasted fluffernutters and a swim in the rain, we braved the overcrowded metro and made our way to Little India. We found a sort of mall, it was quite something....

Then the girls got henna tattoos, very pretty. Of course you can buy these wee tubes of henna and tattoo yourself, yep looks like we'll be doing that when we get back to China. Fun! 😊 We wandered the streets for hours, bought some spices that are hard to come by in Nanjing and just enjoyed the colours and smells. A great place to spend an afternoon.

 

Then we had a curry and a beer slushy as you do when in little India, and a guava juice mmm. It might not look that great but it was delish.
