At home / rest days

We decided to have a rest day yesterday, we had a swim, read andinter-webbed. By 3pm we were ready to do something, after briefly consulting our 'things we want to do and see in Singapore' list, we settled on going to see the a Hobbit 2. On the way to the movies we stumbled across a Marks and Spencer where we bought Mia some fruit mince pies, it wouldn't be Xmas without them :-) 

Then onto IMAX, which was ridiculously huge. The 3d actually made me feel a little bit sea sick! I was relieved the hobbits finally made it to the mountain, it only took 5hrs 15mins. Luke went prepared to sign autographs but alas he is a man of lake town during and post dragon. So we wait patiently for next mammoth instalment of this epic saga... 

After the movie we jumped aboard a double decker bus and took in the Orchard Rd lights, pictures don't do them justice.

 

Sleep ins all round today, so another 'at hone' day, swimming, homework for Mia and then off to a near by mall for a spot of shopping. Mia and Isla both did very well...
