It is quite surreal walking through buildings that are thousands of years old, was the centre of civilisation, then turned to rubble. Was quite a special moment when Isla told how in the Colloseum they would release the erotic animals from cages to kill the slaves... What a way to die ;)
The Trivi Fountain was very disappointing as it was under maintenance.
Then we wandered through the streets of Rome, across the Tiber and back home.
