Makeovers

Today we completed several of the tasks on Isla's "fun-gender". Makeovers, building ello cities & baking Jaffa cakes.



While we were doing this Luke bottled the quince & apple jelly I made.

Pooh stick racing with walnut boats.

What does one do with walnut shells? Hmmm....we decided to make boats that we raced under the hawea bridge (like pooh sticks). It all happened so fast that it was really quite tricky to photograph :-) but surprisingly exciting.










I should add that Luke won...his boat was the only one that we could identify.

Lolo was concerned and took Moo to the doctor where to her absolute delight she got crutches!

Isla had a great time doing flips, not sure she got $10 worth of fun from it but thats ok. She also won the candle stick making competition and one of the photography categories. Sadly her plum jam didn't place.
